The image is part of an ongoing project exploring the Anthropocene illustrating nature and human impact on a micro level. The grid structure references how the environment is often viewed in scientific and industrial terms.

The collage technique is an attempt to show nature has changed on a micro level e.g. the chemistry of clouds now include greater concentrations of human produced emissions such as microplastics. Additionally there are about 350,000 artificial chemicals in the environment, many of which are in the atmosphere.
